Section 7.5: Security Passwords

When Participants, Subscribers, and Administrative Users qualify for participation in the MLS, they create a secure password to provide the user access the MLS database. The MLS will also require the user to answer three security questions to verify user identity.
User Security Password Rules
Passwords are issued to an individual user, and it is strictly prohibited to share or provide security passwords or security question information to anyone including, but not limited to spouse, significant other, team members or unregistered personal assistants. Administrative Users must be registered users with the MLS.
Note: Third-party vendors must obtain a license from MLS to provide services using MLS data. This includes (but is not limited to) IDX or Web developers who require an ftp feed of MLS data to Participants’/Subscribers/ Web sites.
